3 Reasons We’ll Miss Dexter & DVD Release

Who knew that a show following the life of a serial killer would brighten up my Sunday nights? Showtime’s Dexter recently concluded after eight seasons. Many viewers can agree with me to say the series finale was rather flat, but we’ll miss the show nonetheless. On November 12, fans can pick up the following discs on Blu-Ray and DVD:

Dexter: The Complete Final Season (the chilling final season!)

Dexter: The Complete Series Collection (features more than four hours of interviews with the cast, documentaries and an interview with Psychologist Kevin Dutton, author of The Wisdom of Psychopaths)

Related to all things Dexter, here’s what I’ll miss the most:

  • All the suspense: Though all shows must come to an end, I think the writers of Dexter structured the story very well. The cliffhangers and sudden twists that came in every episode made the series compelling to watch…and gave me lots of goose bumps.
  • The cast: Michael C. Hall and the entire cast were witty and added pizazz to the show.
  • Rooting for a serial killer: Sounds weird, right? The show gets you thinking about how Dex could go all these seasons without getting caught by (most) police. It seems odd to like a serial killer with a soul, but it’s just SO right.
