Its easy to allow your career to define you when you haven't worked on defining yourself outside of external elements

Thinking about what you're doing now and how it's shaping your future is excellent advice. I think about it often and I feel my blog itself is great prepatory work in itself

That's cute Tanja.
I was in college for 3 years getting my business degree. I haven't (until now) put it to use.
I got a book from my mom called - Getting From College to Career - and I swear it suits me to a 'T'.
I couldn't have done it without it. I'm not kidding!
I landed a great job...sorry CAREER... with this huge company as a Manager and I'm so excited to rave about how this book helped me doing so.
The author, Lindsey Pollak, gives you like anywhere from 75-100 tips. It's an amazing tool, especially for those ones who have tried to find their 4tay and maybe aren't going about it the right way. I sure wasn't.
Hopefully this helps someone as much as it helped me.

My career, an elementary school art teacher, allows me to grow, change, learn, create, express myself, bond with other human beings and to love.

I would just like to say that I love these ABC's --- reading them with a cup of coffee in the morning before I start my day is just the perfect way to remember what's important and what's not --- thanks!
