I *heart* google on many different levels. I heart google reader, gmail and on Sundays I heart google analytics. If this is your first time visiting how ’bout tell me what you searched to get here. Was it one of these crazy things …

• my "first last" name – seriously someone, actually 12 someones or, 1 person 12 times (in the last week) has googled my first and last name in quotes. I am a bit freaked out.
• for all of you who are googling genpink or gen pink or genpink blog please for the love of all things pink I beg of you learn to bookmark sites, mmk? Or better yet subscribe to the feed.
• hump day humor – you know I did post something silly once on a Wednesday but I just decided Friday is a much better day for my fun round-ups and Sundays are perfect days for googlicious. But if you want to look at Friday Round-Ups on hump day go right ahead.
• jq lounge – this sounds familiar but I don’t know what it is, try to spin the google wheel again.
• pink and green website – that’s genpink, I am a pink girl who also lives a green life. GenPink’s theme is also green and pink, at least for now. Have you noticed the "because pink girls can be green too" links on the side? Those are my shared favorite green links from around the web.
• "blog"+"twenty something"+"women" – congratulations contestant you are our winner. What’s your prize do you ask? A community of great people, mostly women to be cyber friends with.
• a generation different from my own – maybe if you tell me your generation I could tell you how I’m different than yours.
• advertising agency the working – I’ve never worked for an advertising agency, at least not yet, so I can’t help you. Check back later.
• "are most twenty something women always looking for better" – this is a great question. I would say in short the answer is yes. We like to improve our lives both professionally and personally. This sounds like a great future post, what do you think?
• elysa in bikini – REALLY?! Ok now skippy (that’s what I call people who bother me) why are you trying to see me in a bikini?
• green and pink refillable bottle from starbucks – I have a pink starbucks bottle that I’m inlove with. My friend Tanja bought it for me
• hate job – If you hate your job maybe my friend Chuck can give you some advice, he hates your job too. If you hate your job so much that you are looking for a new one, let Andrea help get the job of your dreams.
• "how is your generation different from your parents’ generation?" – that’s a pretty deep question you have there for senior google. Rebecca and Tiffany are pretty much experts on our generation, they should be able to help.
• i want a pink computer – me too! Let’s be friends.
• love advices for twenty somethings – Here’s my advice … live and love full out, because even if it doesn’t work out to love and be loved is amazing.
• people expect so much from me – me too but you know what I take it as a complement.
• smart couples finish main points – I haven’t read it yet, it’s on my wishlist. I will keep you posted.
• thankful for friends and family – so am I! I have great real life friends, and cyber friends, and family and pretty much great everyones.

• why can’t i be a photographer?: you know, I will just say what all your friends have been too afraid to tell you – you aren’t very good, that’s the real reason

Spam-a-lot: For some reason I have been getting spam comments lately that are just random quotes. Some of the quotes make no sense, and others are pretty interesting. I like this one "Subtlety is the art of saying what you think and getting out of the way before it is understood — Unknown." So thank you crazy spammer bot for giving me something to think about.

The first round was so much fun I’ve decided to make this a weekly series. I get several google searches for twenty something and other things that make sense, but that’s not entertaining. The purpose of googlicious is to pick the funny/odd keyword searches.

• 101 ways to annoy your parents – I am not sure why I keep coming up for ways to annoy people, it has never been my goal in life to annoy anyone
• all opposed say yay – yeah that is my pet peeve. Check out my previous post if you want to know the different between yeah, yay, & yea.
• bra back fat – yeah, sorry to tell you honey you need a new bra.
• convertible shoe – that was crazy, the photo is here along with several other crazy shoes
• do you need friends in your 30s – I’m sorry for whoever is looking for the answer to this question, my answer would be friends are important for every age
• doom generation x y – are we doomed? I don’t get it.
• fun friday ideas – here’s my idea … join our 20something group and check out the crazy postings in our blogroll
• funny, dads – I’m not an expert and I don’t have any advice to make your dad funny, but I will tell ya my dad is funny
• impulse spending addiction and stop credit card addiction – hey I hear your pain buddy, maybe you should try freezing your credit card

• one hundred one ways to do something – how can I help you if you don’t even know what it is you want to do?
• pink ipod – Oh yes I love ipods and I especially love the pink shuffle – I won one and then I bought one for my friend.

• spellr – that was my play on words for the crazy flickr speller
• stalkerific – that is very odd, at first this word was funny but what if some crazy stalker actually is stalkerific. Should we be scared?

On a related note … I just checked my spam comments and this was one that was flagged as spam "There are three kinds of women: the pretty ones, the ugly ones, and the blondes…" — Now what exactly is that supposed to mean? Blondes aren’t pretty or ugly we are just our own set of beauty standards?

My last post was about using Google Analytics as a form of monitoring your blog traffic progress. What I didn’t tell you is that it has also be a great form of entertainment. I will take the lead from The Laidback Buddhist & Alydabear and turn my google keyword searches in to public domain.

I am pretty grumpy about this one. When I first started GenPink I decided to add a section about little tidbits about "going green" I came up with GenGreen and then did a search to see if anyone was using that name. And according to google the answer WAS no. Well last week I was notified that gengreen is now trademarked soooo please refer to Girls Gone Green if you are looking for ways to green your life.

That is pretty funny. I have had my fair share of roommates but I don’t think I could come up with 1001 ways to annoy them.
