GenPink

This morning I opened up my trusty feed reader (feedly), and soon clicked on a post of mine to see how it looked in feedly. There are so many things about using this clean, minimalist feed reader, but one of my favs is the fact that it recommends things "you might also like". The suggested reading for those who like GenPink just so happen to be some of my favorite ladies.

If there are any skeptics out there that say this isn’t real, I can tell you … there are guys who act like this. I’ve met a few of this guys not-so-distant cousins.

I learned a new word today … knackered.

Knackered = buggered = stuffed = tired – alyndabear

That pretty much sums up how I feel today.

Since I’ve had a few people asking … yes I did end up going out last night for Halloween. I had fun, there was dancing and lots of laughing. Today on the other hand is not so much fun. I am not quite sure how I used to go out all the time and then go to class all day. I will tell you that sitting at computer all day is not fun when you’ve had 5 hours of sleep.

This has been my saving grace …

Have you ever had these crazy Monster Energy drinks? They make me feel hyper and drunk.

I have decided that this day is beginning to turn around. This morning I thought this day was going to turn out pretty blah but I came back from lunch and the whole world has changed. *did I mention I exaggerate a bit!*

The first email in my inbox read something like this … "Hello everyone,
We have no further changes to the website. Thanks for everything." This seriously made me want to do a happy dance. We have been working on this website for way to long.

Then when I was just getting over the joy of that email … one of my co-workers walked in with this crazy thing …

and said, hey girls this is a new monthly thing we are doing here at the office. Enjoy! You better believe I will enjoy this!

Yay for projects finally getting approved and yay for ice cream at work! Now if only it was Friday.
