The Station Hearts The North Texas Food Bank
Dec. 3-31, All day, Various Station retailers and restaurants
Mockingbird Station is urging patrons to make the holidays brighter for families in need by donating canned food items to The North Texas Food Bank at its participating retailers and restaurants Dec. 3-31.
Numerous Mockingbird Station tenants will be taking part in the drive this year, and many of them will offer visitors discounts for participating. Drop off your cans of food wherever you see our NTFB flyers.
The Station Debuts A Trio Of New Restaurants

The Station is thrilled to welcome three new restaurants to its roster of exciting offerings. This month, Mockingbird Taproom, Smashburger and Herrera’s Tex-Mex are slated to open their doors to the public. If you’re a fan of excellent service, tasty gourmet fare and a wide assortment of beers, wines and cocktails, the Station is where you need to be.
Quirky Christmas Outdoor Movie Screening
Dec. 6, 7 p.m., Mezzanine
Join us for hot chocolate, warm blankets and the endearingly quirky holiday flick Christmas Vacation outside the Angelika Film Center on our heated Mezzanine. Take advantage of the chilly weather and our awesome alfresco movie screen and make it a date night Griswold style. We promise not to blind you with our Station holiday lights.
Deck The Walls At West Elm
Dec. 6, 13, 20, 6 to 8 p.m., Suite 100
Stop by West Elm this month for Holiday Thursdays, its seasonal program of complimentary events and classes. From paper flowers to out-of-the-ordinary ornaments, find fresh ways to decorate your home for the holidays. For more information and to RSVP call 214-821-3999.
Get Wrapped Up At The Station
Dec. 7-8, Noon – 4 p.m. and 4 – 7 p.m., The Offices lobby and east side of Urban Outfitters
Back by popular demand, we’ll have our Gift Wrap Station set up from noon to 4 p.m. on Dec. 7 in the lobby of The Offices (outside of Park Cities Bank) and from 4 to 7 p.m. on Dec. 8 outside of Urban Outfitters near the Angelika Film Center stairs. We’ve created some super cute custom wrapping paper to adorn all of your holiday goodies and we’ll wrap up your wares for free! The only thing you have to do is bring a canned food item for the North Texas Food Bank, Mockingbird Station’s official charity of the holiday season, and voila! Your present will be ready to go under the tree and you can smile knowing it helped a family in need.
Leadership Dallas Parties Station Style
Dec. 13, 6 to 9 p.m., Mezzanine
If you’re a member of Leadership Dallas, the Dallas Regional Chamber’s program for developing community leaders, you’re in luck this month. The Station will host the popular organization’s annual Christmas party complete with Circus Freaks, tasty fare, stiff drinks, live music and probably some really awesome post-party stories to tell.
Run Off Those Holiday Pounds At Relativity Outdoors
Every Monday, 6 p.m., Suite 170
Relativity Outdoors offers Social Runs every Monday at 6 p.m. throughout December. Runners will meet at Relativity Outdoors and head over to the Katy Trail for a 3 to 6 mile jog. Participants will be treated to a 30 percent discount and free refreshments before and after the run. Race you there!
