While the man’s voice on this video is not my favorite, I love the message and the quips in this video. These 5 minutes hold a great deal of “words to live by” not only for twenty-somethings but for everyone. As you might have gathered, by the subject I picked, I particularly like “don’t read beauty magazines… they will only make you feel ugly.”

Definitely agree with that. I realized that when I had a subscription to Cosmo my sophomore year of college. I haven’t bought one since then. Now when I pick one up, say, in my thererapist’s office, while I’m waiting, they just seem so ridiculous to me and I hate how they try to make us fall for their crap. Because even though I know what they’re doing, it still kind of works a little bit.
