Faith Hill on Happiness

Another reason I love my DVR … rewinding to write down that great line that Faith Hill said on Oprah.

You wake up healthy .. and you wake up happy … and your family is safe, healthy and happy then everything else pales in comparison. – Faith Hill

Sometimes, I find myself feeling like I am living in a sitcom. Have you ever noticed how most TV shows have 1 general theme in each episode? Every issue that the characters are having leads back to the same theme or lesson. There are many times I see this happening in my life. Faith Hill’s words sum up my exact sentiments for my life right now.

There are so many things in life that you can get yourself worked up about. But, if you stop and take a moment to be grateful for all of the great things you do have you will realize those little "issues" are not even worth the stress.

Yup, I totally agree. My sister just told me today how a SUV barely missed totaling her car this weekend, and the chick flicked her off! Ridiculous! I'm just glad I still have my sister.:o)

True love, the kind that shines a light through our darkest moments, needn't be sung from a mountaintop to be heard.
