a pink perspective on being gen y

Girls Gone Green

The premise behind GenPink is that we are a different generation of women. I’d like to believe (or at least hope) that our generation is a big contributor to the “green movement.” I know that I would like to know that I am doing at least my small part. There are already so many blogs already that discuss all things green and I am by no means an expert so I do not want to completely change the direction of GenPink, but I would like to add more green to our pink world over here.

I am, what my mom calls a “high information sort” I love to know new little tidbits about this or that, this was the original purpose in starting this blog. So, I thought a fun addition to GenPink would be little snippets of green fact or tips.

The initial intention was to include green facts at the bottom of each post but I was finding that there were so many great green articles that I was not able to link to. So I decided to change Girls Gone Green. Girls Gone Green is now it’s own section. I will share my favorite posts from other blogs via Google Reader. I subscribe to several great Green Blogs and I will share my favorite articles from those blogs. If there is anything green you’d like to add feel free to send it to me.

To get you caught up here are some of GenPink’s previous green posts:

  • Pink and green do go together. Um, it must be a coincidence that your Girls gone green section has a similar name to my blog title! I found you by reviewing my blog searches.

Anyway.... best of luck in your endeavors. And keep growing!
  • Enjoy your blog! Thought I'd send in another green link for you to check out:
