I just stumbled across your blog, and I must say that it was a breath of fresh air and somewhat comforting. As you mention in your "about me" section, most of the women's blog out there are for mommies, and as a 25 year-old single woman who is no closer to having a baby than Kentucky is to banning tobacco. This is the only blog I've seen so far to really center around the needs and concerns of we working girls that isn't just a random dialogue of someone's life. I love it just the way it is (Bridget Jones style). :)

Then again, I'm a neophyte to your site! Thanks for the fresh eye!

When you look at the female blogosphere and women's interest websites as compared to the number of male-interest websites and "gender neutral" websites (which they really aren't, because gender neutral is almost always considered to default to male), you'll probably find that a huge imbalance in numbers in favour of blogs and sites run by and targeted to men. There are thousands of quality places that already include men and provide a place where men can go, but a lot of the time those blogs and sites are extremely hostile and sexist towards women. Since you are deciding on whether to refocus this site, you should also consider the fact that there very few places like this on the internet where women can feel welcome.

Just because you have more men respoding to posts than women doesn't mean that you're doing anything wrong with your current approach. Actually it's probably the opposite. They are coming here because they are interested in what you write and interested in a woman's perspective. I think your site would lose a lot of its originality if you tried to change that approach too much.

For what it's worth, I tried to make my blog geared toward women and I've had enough of a response from guys that I've ended up including them more and more.
