I enjoy it, the unpacking and decorating. Every apartment I've had, I've decorated completely different. It's refreshing and uplifting to decorate your home to your own liking, not having to ask anyone else's opinion. It's good to see that others find some form of therapy in molding their physical environment. It's also good to see that it's not unusual to feel overwhelmed and alone when you shoulder such a large responsibility by yourself. My house isn't big (around 850 square feet, built in 1950), and I'm not rich (I work two library assistant jobs), but I'm trying my damnedest to make it a place I truly love.
