Make your mark with the #HappyActs challenge at Dallas’ Klyde Warren Park, March 20

March 20 is the International Day of Happiness as established by the United Nations. Live Happy, the magazine driven by a mission to make the world a happier place, joined in on the campaign to drive awareness. Live Happy invites everyone in the Dallas area to join the festivities by accepting the #HappyActs Challenge.

The challenge encourages participants to join in by sharing their #HappyActs online via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest, leading up to International Day of Happiness to build awareness, help others generate ideas and inspire all to get involved.

On March 20, participants can help bring about change by posting these small acts of kindness, as well as inspiring others to post their #HappyActs, on one of more than 35 Happiness Walls around the country including Klyde Warren Park, and hosted by Gens Johnson. Participants can see how the Dallas community is inspired to make the world a happier place!

Additionally, Live Happy will donate $1 to Big Brothers Big Sisters* for every person that accepts the #HappyActs Challenge.

The value of happiness should never be dismissed. Research shows that happiness is an incredibly important part of life. Positive emotions have tremendous effects on health, longevity, personal relationships, creativity, and work satisfaction. Happy people tend to be more successful, live longer, have better connections with family and friends, miss less work and donate more.
