• On Turning 30… and NaBloPoMo – National Blog Posting Month

Posted on October 31, 2011 by in Gen-Y

I turn 30 in a little over 3 months. So many people, particularly women have mixed feelings about a)sharing your age publicly and b)turning thirty. I have never been one to hide my age. When I started this blog (nearly 5 years ago) I was knee-deep in my quarter life crisis. A lot has changes, and with each new phase in my life comes new lessons. So, I decided November 2011 is the perfect time to reattempt to write at least 1 post a day for 30 days. Since I do well with themes, my self imposed theme is 30 things I learned by age 30.

Fair warning: I will be traveling, and working 40 million hours and be off living my life so there a chance some of my posts will be brief. But not without thought. On the note: the 30 things I’ve learned will be no particular order. If you love this idea feel free to borrow it if you have a blog.

Speaking of themes: I have a fun guest post series planned leading up to my big 3.0! If you want to be considered fill out http://bit.ly/gpinkguest

–disclaimer: this is only the first of what I can only assume will be many of the NaBloPo posts written from a tiny screen with my thumbs. Please disregard, spelling, commas, or any iPhone autocorrect humor –
