Operation: Social Santa Comes to Dallas

Whether you’re a Gen-Y social media fanatic or a philanthropist at heart, come mingle with others alike at Operation: Social Santa DFW.

Operation: Social Santa, formally known as Tweetdrive, is a global holiday event where social media-driven communities come together to network, share a drink, and donate toys to a local partnering organization. It is the mission of Operation: Social Santa to build a collaborative effort among social media driven communities to bring the gift of the holidays to those who need it most.

This year, Operation: Social Santa has some major sponsors on board including Eventbrite, Hootsuite and Klout (for all you social media nerds) and consumer companies such as PopChips and Airbnb. Pretty EXCITING stuff!

Attendees are requested to bring a toy donation as the entrance fee. All toys collected at the Dallas events will be donated to Captain Hope’s Kids, an organization striving to meet the critical needs of local homeless children.

Please register on the Eventbrite page, and don’t forget to pick up a new, unwrapped toy to bring with you!

Our awesome venues, Ringo’s Pub (Shops at Legacy — 12/12) and The Mucky Duck Bar (Addison Circle — 12/13) are providing free appetizers and drinks specials all night. The illustrious committee members in DFW are giving away some door prizes too. So, come network, have a drink with us, and help us give back to a deserving charity this season.
