Power of Declaration

Just 3 short days ago I made a declaration that I was planning on participating in NaBloPoMo this month. When I made this declaration I was caught up in the excitement of starting a new series and didn’t consider the depth of this commitment.

As an entrepreneur my work load tends to have an ebb and flow to it. This should have been taken into consideration when I decided to commitment myself to something for a full month. Fortunately for my clients, and not so fortunately for GenPink readers, my work takes precedence over my blog. So in case you didn’t already figure out by November 2nd I hadn’t kept up my end of the bargain.

So I will be writing reviews on Gen Yers throughout November but I certainly will not be doing it every day. Today I still have much work left to do because business is great this week. In the mean time here’s some of my favorite past GenPink posts that are fitting for me right now.

You can also check out over 18 months of archives by topic.

Happy election day to all my US readers!

  • I had good intentions of doing NaBloPoMo this year too, but I skipped the same day you did -- 11/2. It's much less stressful this way though, so I'm okay with it. :)

Hahaha, I can't do Nablopomo.. even though I post about 4 times a day, for some odd reason, nablo makes me not want to post at all!
  • I've already missed a day for NaBlo too! Oh well, I'm still going to participate as it's a great way to meet new people.
  • Heh, it's okay, your post inspired me to check out NaBloPoMo, and mostly so far I've been good (but also, I write on a group blog, so it's easier for five of us to get one post in a day). So at least you did some good via inspiration :)
