It’s hard to believe it’s been over a year since we moved into our house. Our neighborhood doesn’t have much turnover. The people who live directly next to us, have owned and lived in their house since 1986. So, as you can imagine if a house goes on the market in our area it’s snatched up QUICKLY. I saw a For Sale sign go up a week or so ago and it was sold within a few days.
I’m not sure on the timing of the closing, but I do know as soon as the new folks move in they will receive a warm welcome from quite a few people on our street. I thought it’d be fun to take some goodies in a basket to say hello to the new residents.

Moving can be stressful so I decided a bottle of wine and some chocolate would be great for taking a break. I’m also including two local magazines. Chances are with moving day, wine glasses and a bottle opener won’t be easily accessible so I’ve included plastic wine glasses and a small bottle opener.

- invitation to join your neighborhood on NextDoor.com
- information on any local organizations they may be interested in
