Most people use blog stat trackers to help grow their blog, figure out information about their visitors, you know useful things. I decided today I’d use my Google Analytics information for entertainment. One of the many fancy features of google analytics is that you can see what keywords people were searching for that they ended up at your blog. Most of the time those keywords make sense. Sometimes though I am left very confused.

Keywords that make sense for genpink: "reusable coffee sleeves," "101 lists," and of course "genpink". Something scary someone googled my full name. Hmm wonder who is stalking me?

Off the wall keywords:

Until next time, there is my lesson on how not to use google analytics productively. Happy Friday y’all (yep I’m from Texas!)

I always get a kick out of seeing who’s searched what to find my site a well. There are always some entertaining ones. Like “why isn’t my grass green?” and “gross margin jargon” - and I always, almost every day, get something from someone shopping for a suit!

Hi! Just bumped with your blog through My blog log and “Designers who blog” . . . Love your site and set up. Your searching post is funny - I enjoy seeing what people search for. The weirdest two were a random post I did on Tatoos (I don’t even have one) and a movie review of Diane Arbus. Everyday people find my site through these posts!
