I can’t believe the summer is almost over! The beginning of a new month, and an end of a season, is a perfect time to reflect on who has made a difference in your life lately. Marriott Rewards® is celebrating its 30th birthday with a Year of Surprises! Four winners will be notified in September for the third and final round of nominations for the Year of Surprises. Marriott Rewards has already award eight lucky people who each got to have their own unique surprise party. I personally love the variety of reasons for celebrating. A Surprise Engagement Party
Stephanie has triumphed over brain surgery and a stroke. A year ago the doctors thought she would never walk again. Now, not only is Stephanie walking, she spent the evening dancing to her favorite country songs with her fiancé, John, and their family and friends. Stephanie and John’s wedding is scheduled for March 2015! Watch their video story.
Bryan was recognized as a Super Dad by his wife Amanda
Recently, their youngest daughter, Margot, was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia at the young age of 2. Bryan left his job to be by Margot’s side at the hospital for 6 months. For Bryan’s upcoming 30th birthday, Amanda gave her husband the surprise celebration of a lifetime! See their party and hear their story here (fair warning, there are tears).
Phillip is celebrated by his wife for turning 50 and proudly serving his country in the military for 25 years!
His wife Tammy nominated Philip for a surprise 50th birthday party so he could celebrate with his family and a few of his closest military buddies, after returning home from deployment in Afghanistan. While serving overseas, one of the things Philip missed the most was enjoying delicious, all-American cuisine.
Celebrating Melissa with It’s a Small World Party
Van nominated his wife, Melissa, for a cultural melting pot party that she will never forget. Melissa has shown incredible kindness by hosting International students and refugee families for the past 20 years. Van wanted to celebrate Melissa by bringing all of their family and friends together for a huge multicultural celebration.
