Did you get April Fooled? For some reason I am so not a fan of this silly holiday.

Only one person tried to April fool me, she sent me a text message that said “bad accident headed to the ER”. Not ammusing to me at all, maybe I’m a April Fool’s scrooge.

  1. I called a former intern with my company yesterday and told him that there was a huge problem with the work he did and now the client was upset. I even got the project manager and the president of the company on the phone with him to talk about the problem.

I don’t think I would be a fan of the ER text message though. I probably would have left my office to try to take care of the person who I thought was hurt.

  2. I’m not a fan of it either. I probably would have cried at the ER text message. That would have made the friend feel bad!

I DID take a screen shot of my co-workers computer and put it as his background, though. He was very frustrated, clicking the non-working icons. He hated me for a bit after that, but he deserved it. He hid my computer’s mouse.

  3. haha oh man that would be kind of funny to shrink wrap someone’s stuff. the only thing that happened to me as a mystery phone call that everyone in my office got at the same time….weird.

  4. I LOVE it! I TOTALLY got my students and coworkers with the old : Oh my gosh, come over here! Did you see that yet, you sat in something! Was IS that!?

Every single person but ONE fell for it. BEAUTIFUL! Also, the fake spider scare with my fourth grader was precious too!

I just don’t like sad jokes played on me like what your friend said to you, that’s just not funny and wrong.

Two students got me: One boy said:Miss Dugas your strap is undone(on my highheel shoe) and a student smoothly put a plastic lizard on my shoulder when I was in deep conversation with a teacher after school and said What’s that? haha! I really fell for both of them. I LOVE April Fool’s!

  6. I’m not a fan either, I don’t get the point of it.

Finance pulled one on Tuesday at my work, took away all of the large Flavia coffee machines pretending they were being serviced. But they failed to check the water valves that were connected to the machines and I came in at 7am to a flood by my office. Not fun to mop up for an hour until HR got there.

  7. Would have to say an April Fools Scrooge. But that’s OK. Makes it even better to play pranks on you :)

I tried to pull a prank on my boss on April fools. I e-mailed him saying I quit. Didn’t work out since he e-mailed me saying I was fired. Only difference was mine was a joke.

    Bwaha. Post-April fools ;)

  8. No, I totally agree with you on that. Scrooge or not, there are some things that just AREN’T funny. I’ve never been a practical joke kind-of-a-gal anyway…especially when someone is going to be embarassed afterwards.

    Silly holiday. :)
