Free women’s self-defense in Dallas (March 3)

Attention, ladies! This Saturday, March 3 from noon to 2 p.m., Professor Nick Chamberlain will host a FREE women’s self-defense workshop at his studio in Dallas. Participants will learn techniques to avoid dangerous situations, fend off potential assailants and general self-defense methods and mentalities.

Within the workshop attendees can ‘Break a Board for a Buck’ where they are taught how to break a wooden plank with their bare hand; each ‘buck’ benefits Genesis Women’s Shelter. Also, Dallas Police Department representatives will be present with safety tips and a Q&A session.

As a sweet reward for empowering themselves, Dunkin’ Donuts will offer munchkin donuts and coffee before and following the workshop to all attendees!

Attendees are  encouraged to wear comfortable fitness attire and to bring a donation of cash or everyday household items to benefit Genesis.
