With summer ending and fall setting in place, there’s no other way to celebrate the seasons than with a shopping party! Recently, the fashion boutique shop Planet Blue hosted a Dallas Summer Soiree in celebration and gratitude for the amazing support from the Dallas community. A portion of the proceeds from that night’s purchases went to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

More than 200 guests attended the event, which took place at Planet Blue’s Henderson location. The party included live music by a Dallas indie musicians Robert Cody Maxwell and The Gentlemen Vain, complimentary hair braiding and, of course, beautiful merchandise from Planet Blue. You can expect to find Cali-style clothes with a boho look. I love Planet Blue for its laid back, yet sophisticated clothes.

In addition, guests were treated to a special appearance by WildFox founder Kim Gordon who flew out to Dallas for the occasion!

 

Planet Blue’s neighboring Mesero restaurant provided small bites that included brisket nachitos, fresh ceviche, chips and guacamole and refreshing margaritas. Guests also lined up to try craft cocktails from Austin’s Cocktails that included a Vodkarita garnished with lime and jalapeño, Cucumber Vodka Mojitos and Tea Twisters garnished with fresh lemon.
