Tea + Light Reading

I’ve recently been in the mood to organize my digital life, mainly photo backups and the growing collection of recipes I’m hoarding Pinterest. In this organizing, I’ve run across some great links so I figured I’d pick back up with the link love series. I’m usually drinking tea when I sit down to read fellow blogger’s round-up posts and so, Tea + Light Reading seems like a good title for the new edition of internet goodies.

  • Travel: the hubs and I spent the weekend in Fort Worth for a bit of a staycation. We posted a few photos on Instagram. I love this one of Rory from The Modern Museum. And this slo-mo of the Water Garden is pretty fun.
  • Recipes: We opted to try a new (to us) crockpot Creole dish this week. In searching my Pinterest archives, apparently I had three different versions save: Chicken + Sausage (pinchofyum), Chicken + Shrimp (naturally minimalist), and Sausage + Shrimp (pillsbury). The Pinch of Yum version is currently in the crockpot.
  • Blogger friends: I spent last Saturday hanging out with several Dallas bloggers at SoFabU. Shout out to Autumn from MamaChallenge and Denise from Beauty & the Pleats for making the day extra awesome.
